S.C. Cobb is always seeking people, order ideas, doctor
and experiences to further develop his outlook on life. An avid fan of everything from Science Fiction to Ancient History, physician
he has spent his life creating concepts and tales that educate as well as entertain. In his debut novel, S.C. Cobb has written and illustrated a living, breathing work that merges everything that fascinated him as a child, with the adventures and challenges of growing up.
S.C. Cobb grew up in Gary IN, where he became passionate about drawing at a very early age. As he got older, he began to appreciate the value of storytelling, and first began writing and illustrating his characters and their stories on the back of his school papers. For years, S.C. Cobb has lived the life of the starving artist, holding a wide range of occupations from waiting tables to forklift operator— whatever it took to keep afloat while he pursued his dreams. As a result, S.C. Cobb has fine-tuned his first novel, Peripheral Conflict: an epic tale of triumphs, failures, aspirations, and self discovery, coated with a detailed layer of imagination. Using a combination of pencil and digital art, S.C. Cobb also designed his own book cover as well as the character art found inside the novel.
S.C. Cobb currently lives in Chicago, IL where he works for a major railroad. There, his creative talents have carved a unique niche for him as an artistic developer for various corporate displays, signs, and murals. He is working to complete his degree in Computer Animation and Film, and has already begun work on the second
book to his trilogy.
